What you’ll need to succeed:

• Active CDE (Colorado Department of Education) license required
• Experience working with moderate to severe special education needs preferred
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Familiarity with current teaching strategies and adaptive technology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both with students and fellow staff
• Flexibility, patience, and creativity in addressing diverse learning needs
• Commitment to creating an inclusive, positive classroom culture

Your key responsibilities:

• Design and deliver specialized instruction for students with moderate to severe needs
• Collaborate with related service providers, general education staff, and families
• Develop, monitor, and update IEP goals and documentation in compliance with regulations
• Track student progress and modify instruction as necessary for individual achievement
• Support the social, emotional, and academic growth of each student
• Participate in relevant meetings and professional development opportunities
