This role is primarily remote, allowing you to provide support to clients from the comfort of your own home while utilizing telehealth technologies. Our outpatient office base in Springfield is where our administrative and support staff operate, ensuring that counselors have access to administrative assistance and resources to help facilitate their client interactions. Our remote setup promotes flexibility, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver evidence-based counseling services that adhere to established mental health, psychological, and human development theories, engaging effectively with adults, families, and groups.

• Conduct psychoeducational sessions to inform clients about mental health, emotional disorders, and behavioral issues, empowering them with knowledge about their mental challenges.

• Collaborate with team members in staffing and case conferences, generating comprehensive care strategies through shared insights and evaluations, both with and without client participation.
\n
• Assess client needs and facilitate career development sessions, aiming to treat interpersonal relationship issues and addressing a spectrum of cognitive, affective, and behavioral disorders.

• Maintain thorough outreach and follow-up practices to ensure clients receive ongoing support and encouragement in their treatment journey.
\n
• Develop and implement effective transition, discharge, and aftercare plans tailored to client needs, ensuring continuity of care following completion of services.

• Document all clinical activities meticulously, including assessments, services provided, care coordination, and discharge planning, ensuring accurate clinical records are maintained.

• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness based on ongoing assessments while integrating feedback from clients and relevant stakeholders into service plan modifications.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with adults and children who present a diverse range of emotional and behavioral challenges. Your clients may include individuals battling anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, and other mental health disorders. Our commitment to providing culturally competent care ensures that you will engage with clients from various backgrounds, addressing their unique characteristics and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and unrestricted state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), maintaining good standing throughout your practice.

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating a thorough understanding of therapeutic methodologies.

• A Master’s degree or higher from an accredited university in the behavioral or mental health fields, equipping you with the foundational knowledge to facilitate effective counseling.

• Exemplary organizational skills, an ability to learn rapidly, strong communication capabilities, and a high receptiveness to constructive feedback.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive compensation package with an annual income potential ranging from $80,000 to $101,000, based upon your expertise and contributions. Additionally, our benefits package includes a sign-on bonus, extensive training opportunities in psychology and therapy techniques, and participation in an annual long-term stock incentive plan. All positions are full-time W2 roles, ensuring comprehensive employment support.
