What You’ll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergencies at the location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, utilizing training and protocols provided by Allied Universal. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential threats, documenting incidents according to Allied Universal protocols. Assist with controlling access to the location, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit points as required. Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement when necessary to address incidents or emergencies. Maintain a visible presence to help deter unwanted behavior and promote a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Follow all company and client-specific protocols regarding the handling and storage of firearms while on duty. Minimum Requirements Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
