Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol Documentation in Berkeley, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

- Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document relevant details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and/or delivery traffic, helping to support authorized access procedures and reporting unusual activity.
- Assist with observing operational areas for potential concerns such as unsecured doors, damaged fencing, lighting issues, and/or other conditions that could require follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
