Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of students to evaluate their emotional and mental health needs and establish rapport with them. For instance, you might implement structured interviews or standardized questionnaires to create a clear picture of each student’s situation.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that consider each student's unique challenges, strengths, and personal goals. You will set measurable objectives and choose effective therapeutic methods, ranging from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to mindfulness approaches.

• Facilitate therapy sessions in various formats, including individual, couples, family, and group settings. Through these sessions, you will guide discussions, enhancing coping skills and mental resilience among participants.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate treatment progress, making adjustments to the treatment plans as necessary based on the students’ development and feedback.

• Provide timely crisis intervention when significant emotional or behavioral issues arise, ensuring students receive the necessary support and coordinating referrals to emergency services when required.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations, ensuring compliance while also safeguarding the students’ privacy.

• Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive approach to mental health care, participating in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss student progress and strategies.

Your primary focus will be on the student population at our partner schools. This includes addressing a spectrum of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active and unrestricted LCSW licensure in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in providing mental health services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, preferably in a school or educational setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
