Work Environment\n

As a remote employee, you’ll work primarily from your home or any location of your choice, engaging with students and families via telehealth platforms. However, you will also have the opportunity to visit schools for in-person consultations and workshops. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team encompassing psychiatrists, psychologists, and other specialized practitioners, all dedicated to a holistic approach towards mental health.

Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LCSW at Serene Paths Psychotherapy, you will undertake a variety of important functions, including but not limited to:

  Conducting thorough clinical assessments for students experiencing a range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to trauma-related challenges.

  Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, ensuring the integration of student and family feedback.

  Providing therapy using various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting the approach to suit the unique circumstances of each client.

  Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of progress notes, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.

  Actively participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights, and collaborating with other professionals to enhance the quality of care for each student.

  Offering education to students and families regarding mental health topics, available treatment options, and local community resources that can assist in their journey toward wellness.

  Staying current on mental health research and best practices to continually refine and improve the therapeutic strategies you employ.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will primarily consist of students facing mental health challenges within the school environment, ranging from elementary through high school. You will work closely with their families to ensure a holistic approach to treatment, emphasizing the importance of support systems and community resources. Your expertise will significantly contribute to their academic success and emotional resilience.

Qualifications\n

  A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

  A valid California license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

  At least 2 years of clinical experience, specifically in providing psychotherapy services to diverse populations.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, experience working in educational settings or with youth populations, as well as familiarity with telehealth technologies, will enhance your effectiveness and adaptability in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

At Serene Paths Psychotherapy, we offer a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
