Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health to accurately identify needs and formulate clinical diagnoses, ensuring each individual receives personalized care.

• Develop and implement effective treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to the goals and needs of each client, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing various techniques to create a safe and trusting environment that encourages open communication.

• Provide critical crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute mental health crises, employing appropriate de-escalation strategies and support resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards, including treatment plans and progress notes through our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health challenges, treatment options, and community resources, acting as a strong advocate for clients’ needs and rights.

• Engage in regular training and professional development activities to stay abreast of best practices in mental health therapy and contribute to a culture of quality improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a diverse array of clients, from children to adults, with varying backgrounds and mental health conditions. Qualifications\n

• Required: Licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R) in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
