The growing Madison, AL based small business is seeking innovative individuals who want to join an up tempo, maker culture that proudly provides products and services to support the American Warfighter!DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCEExperience with SURFCAM CAM softwareExperience operating Mazak and/or Haas CNC machining centersExperience with 5-axis machining operationsCAD experience (SolidWorks or similar)Familiarity with aerospace or defense manufacturing environmentsExperience with metrology equipment (CMM, digital gauging) REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCEDemonstrated experience operating and programming multi-axis CNC machining centers (3-axis minimum; 4/5-axis preferred)Ability to develop and optimize CNC programs from engineering drawings and modelsProficiency in setup, tooling selection, fixturing, and work-holding for complex partsExperience machining aluminum, steel, and other aerospace-grade alloys to tight tolerancesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&TPrevious experience with hand and power toolsHigh School graduate or equivalent; technical/vocational training or associate degree preferredAbility to stand for long periods working in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to lift 50lbs often and work standing up for a full 8-hour shiftWhy Join Griffon Aerospace?At Griffon Aerospace, you'll be part of a team developing next generation unmanned aerial systems for national defense.
