Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based interventions, including but not limited to MBSR, tailored to the individual needs of clients seeking to reduce stress and enhance their emotional well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify each client's unique stressors and goals, and customize mindfulness strategies accordingly.

• Lead clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques aimed at promoting self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops on mindfulness practices and stress management techniques, fostering a sense of community and shared learning.
\n
• Incorporate mindfulness practices into individual therapy sessions to address specific mental health concerns, thereby supporting clients in achieving holistic growth.

• Work collaboratively with other mental health professionals to integrate mindfulness approaches into a comprehensive client treatment plan.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions implemented, and treatment plans leveraging electronic health records systems.

• Engage in personal mindfulness practices and continuous professional development to enhance expertise in mindfulness techniques and their application in therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is mandatory.

• Experience or formal training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is strongly preferred, equipping you to integrate mindfulness effectively into therapeutic practices.

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, with strong interpersonal skills to create a calming therapeutic environment for clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
