Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify individual treatment needs and develop personalized, recovery-oriented treatment plans.

• Provide ongoing clinical services, including individual and group counseling, to help clients tackle the complexities of their mental health symptoms.

• Engage in continuous assessment and modification of treatment strategies based on client progress and feedback.

• Facilitate the development and implementation of individual service plans that incorporate coping strategies, communication skills, and problem-solving techniques.

• Act as a client advocate by educating them about community resources and assisting them in accessing those services effectively.

• Support clients in developing skills for daily living, leisure activities, and community involvement.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to monitor symptoms and aid clients in managing their self-regulation—paying special attention to behavioral and anger management strategies.

• Ensure confidentiality and ethical practice in all client interactions, promoting trust and a safe therapeutic environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to work with adults aged 18 and older who experience mental health challenges that hinder their ability to thrive in their communities. Many clients may struggle with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns that require tailored interventions and support. Your role will be vital in assisting clients to enhance their independence, develop resilience, and foster new coping mechanisms.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current, valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).

• Demonstrated ability to work independently without direct supervision.
\n
• Must have no disciplinary actions on the professional license.
