Location & Schedule 555 Hickory Hills Blvd, Whites Creek, TN Start Time: 7:00–8:00 AM Who This Role Is For Owns month-end close processes end-to-end Comfortable working independently and solving complex accounting issues Focused on building the experience needed for a future management role over the next 18–24 months Who This Role Is Not For Entry-level or task-based accountants Candidates without hands-on month-end ownership Those seeking remote or hybrid work What You’ll Own Weekly Initially support month-end close and financial reporting, with opportunities to expand responsibilities as experience and business needs align Resolve GL, balance sheet reconciliation, and intercompany issues Partner with operations to explain performance Drive process improvements and strengthen controls Position Summary This is a high-impact role responsible for the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. You will lead general ledger activities, execute close processes, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and controls. This position is designed for a senior-level accountant ready to grow into an Accounting Manager role. Key Responsibilities Own and maintain the general ledger Support and over time lead month-end and year-end close processes Prepare and analyze financial statements (U.S. GAAP) Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations Analyze financial results and cost variances Support audits and maintain documentation Enhance internal controls and policies Identify and implement process improvements Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 7+ years accounting experience Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, etc.) Proven track record of supporting or leading month-end close Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work cross-functionally with leadership Preferred Qualifications CPA or progress toward CPA Public accounting experience Multi-entity or multi-location experience Prior leadership or mentoring experience Why This Role Stands Out Clear path for growth High visibility with leadership Opportunity to align processes across multiple locations High ownership environment with impact #J-18808-Ljbffr
