Job Title: Accounts Payable Associate

Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Company Overview: Horizon is a national multi-family plumbing company, focusing on new construction housing. We provide exceptional plumbing services. We are expanding our team and seeking a qualified and reliable Accounts Payable Associate to assist us as we take on more projects. We currently have projects running in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North and South Carolina, Colorado, and we are growing!

Job Summary: We are seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join our finance team. In this role, you will support the management of our accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors and contractors. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices from vendors and contractors.

• Assist in managing payment schedules and ensure timely disbursements.

• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.

• Support the reconciliation of vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication regarding invoices and payments. • Help streamline accounts payable processes and improve efficiencies.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or a related field is highly preferred.

• A background in finance, accounting, and/or construction industry experience is preferred.

• 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

• Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and vendors.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with accounting software is a plus.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• A willingness to learn and adapt to new software and processes is important.
