About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as the senior financial executive and strategic advisor for its Faculty Practice Plan and Health Sciences. The CFO will be responsible for enterprise-wide financial management, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, revenue cycle operations, capital planning, and long-range financial strategy. This role requires a visionary leader who can optimize financial performance, ensure fiscal sustainability, and manage organizational risk. The CFO will also be accountable for aligning financial resources with institutional priorities, enabling informed decision-making, and supporting the growth and impact of the Faculty Practice Plan and Health Sciences enterprise. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Master’s degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA preferred, and at least 10 years of experience in financial management and accounting. A minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or management role, particularly within a healthcare system or academic medical center, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading financial strategy, fostering high standards, and promoting team spirit. Strong leadership, business competence, negotiation skills, and proficiency in healthcare financial and practice management systems are essential. The CFO must also possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities, and be adept at using data and analytics to drive operational improvements.
