Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient-centered approaches.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques, and the use of assistive devices, to help patients reach their rehabilitation goals.
• Continuously monitor and document patients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on managing health conditions, strategies for injury prevention, and ways to support a healthier lifestyle.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to enhance the continuity and effectiveness of care.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in physical therapy methodologies and technologies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to uphold regulatory compliance and elevate patient care standards.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Restored Strength Therapy, you will primarily work with diverse patient populations who may be recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, or chronic pain. Your role will be essential in guiding patients through rehabilitation, enhancing their functional abilities, and improving their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active Florida State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; advanced degrees (Master's or Doctorate) are welcomed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient and team interactions.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a full caseload efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Post Graduate Education in areas such as manual therapy, corrective and restorative exercise, functional movement training, or dry needling is preferred but not mandatory.
• Previous experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting will be advantageous.
