Accounts Payable Clerk

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $24.00 to $28.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities Process accounts payable transactions from invoice entry through payment while ensuring accuracy and proper approvals. Perform matching of purchase orders receipts and invoices to validate transactions before payment. Execute electronic payments including transfers while maintaining timely and accurate processing. Maintain vendor records resolve discrepancies and support reconciliation and close activities. Assist with reporting process improvements and administrative support within high volume operations. Requirements 2+ years of accounts payable experience in a full cycle processing role. Demonstrate understanding of purchase order matching and general accounting workflows. Use Excel effectively to manage data and create reports for tracking and analysis. Possess experience working with enterprise accounting systems in a structured environment. Maintain strong attention to detail while managing large transaction volumes efficiently. Qualifications Apply strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and consistent documentation. Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and workflow accuracy. Communicate clearly with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues quickly.
