Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to create customized treatment plans that align with their individual goals and therapeutic needs.

• Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective interventions.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.

• Track client progress rigorously and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Coordinate care with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure complete and integrated treatment plans.

• Stay informed on the latest research and practices in mood disorders to continually improve the quality of care delivered.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development opportunities.

• Advocate for client needs and mental health awareness in the community, working to reduce the stigma associated with mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support individuals dealing with mood-related disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Your work will extend to diverse populations, including adults, families, and vulnerable groups such as refugees and survivors of domestic violence, ensuring that each client receives empathetic, tailored care throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n
