## Surgical CoordinatorApplylocations: Attleboro, MAtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R8996Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40-This position is responsible for the successful completion of the surgical scheduling process for patients requiring elective surgery at Sturdy memorial Hospital.**Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:*** Three to five years previous experience in medical office.* Command of verbal and written English; positive interpersonal communication skills and good organizational skills.* Understanding of referral and prior authorization process.* Demonstrates strong organizational skills* Able to work collaboratively with surgeons, the hospital surgical schedulers, and the PCP’s office staff* Ability to effectively communicate with patients**Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:*** Knowledge of medical terminology* Computer skills* Knowledge of physician appointments and schedule management.* Ability to work independently**Educational Requirements:*** High school graduate or equivalent;* Two year Associates degree or equivalent preferred**License/Certification:** N/A**Age Specific Criteria:** Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.**Ability to Meet Job Performance Expectations:** Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.**Report to:**Practice Manager-Salary Range: $19.85-$30.05 #J-18808-Ljbffr
