Contracts Administrator / Compliance Coordinator – Construction Location: Fresno, CA Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite Pay: Starting at $27.00/hour, depending on experience CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Please apply only if you have previous construction industry experience working with contracts, bids, subcontractors, or construction project administration. Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator / Compliance Coordinator for a well-established construction company in Fresno. This role supports projects from bidding and contract execution through project closeout and requires someone familiar with construction documentation, subcontractor compliance, and project records. Key Responsibilities Assist with construction bids, proposals, and bid documentation. Prepare, review, and maintain construction contracts and subcontractor agreements. Coordinate subcontractor prequalification, onboarding, and compliance. Track insurance certificates, licenses, bonds, W-9s, and required documentation. Maintain contract logs, bid records, compliance files, and project documentation. Work closely with Project Managers, Estimators, subcontractors, and vendors. Assist with change orders, project documentation, and closeout. Support California construction, public works, and prevailing wage compliance as needed. Qualifications Required Previous construction industry experience. Hands-on experience with construction contracts and/or bids. Understanding of construction terminology and subcontractor processes. Strong organizational and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Experience with California construction contracts or public works. Knowledge of prevailing wage requirements. Experience with subcontractor compliance, bid packages, insurance, and bonds. Construction project administration or estimating experience. Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Accounting, or related field. Important Important This is not a general administrative position. Construction experience is required. Candidates without experience working with construction contracts, bids, subcontractors, or construction project documentation will not be considered. Work Environment Full-time, onsite position in Fresno. Fast-paced construction office environment with regular interaction with project managers, estimators, subcontractors, and vendors.
