Work Environment\n

This is a remote position, allowing you to support clients from the comfort of your own home. You will work primarily through teletherapy platforms, utilizing cutting-edge tools to conduct individual, group, and family sessions. This flexible work model empowers you to create a healthy work-life balance while maintaining a strong commitment to client care. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, and there’s no requirement for on-call work.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health challenges, strengths, and individual needs, laying the groundwork for effective treatment.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with assessment findings and the client’s therapeutic goals, ensuring a personalized approach to mental health care.

• Provide individual therapy, group sessions, and family counseling using evidence-based treatment modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.

• Monitor client progress in therapy rigorously, adjusting treatment plans proactively based on outcomes and client feedback to ensure the best possible results.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to provide comprehensive care that addresses both psychological and physical health needs.

• Advocate for clients’ rights to access the mental health services and community resources necessary for their recovery and well-being.

• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards as mandated by state licensing boards and professional organizations, ensuring clients feel safe throughout their therapeutic journey.

Client Population / Focus\n

Your primary client population will consist of individuals facing mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. You will work with clients of varying ages and backgrounds, allowing you to apply your expertise in culturally competent practices. The role will enable you to build strong therapeutic alliances, fostering an environment where clients feel valued and understood.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State is required.

• Demonstrated experience in treating mood disorders, ideally with at least two years of post-licensure experience.

• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is crucial for patient success.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to engage in effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
