Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct weekly remote counseling sessions with clients via secure telehealth platforms, accommodating varying schedules and ensuring confidentiality.

• Develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals, utilizing evidence-based practices and creative therapeutic techniques.

• Document and maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards, employing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, with a focus on de-escalating situations and connecting clients to additional support resources.

• Engage in regular consultations with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure integrated care for clients with multifaceted needs.

• Stay informed about the latest research and methodologies in marriage and family therapy, participating in ongoing education and professional development initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will work with a diverse clientele including families, couples, and individuals facing various relational and emotional challenges. Our focus includes but is not limited to communication issues, parenting struggles, conflicts in relationships, and mental health conditions. You will be instrumental in assisting clients to develop coping strategies and foster healthier relationships within their families and communities.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related field is required.

• Must hold an active and unrestricted state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
