Audio Lab Management Skills Managing and maintaining audio lab equipment and facilities Implementing and overseeing audio testing protocols and procedures Troubleshooting audio equipment and software issues Conducting audio performance tests and evaluations Coordinating with engineering teams on lab requirements and specifications Familiarity with audio analysis tools and software (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, Python, C/C++) Experience with audio signal processing and measurement techniques Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards Client Relationship & Communication Building trusted relationships with clients Developing an awareness of Firm services Communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner Delivering clear requests for information Demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks Communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor Team Leadership Abilities Leading engagement and project teams within the audio technology industry (preferred) Understanding personal and team roles Contributing to a positive working environment by building trusted relationships with team members Seeking guidance, clarification, and feedback proactively Providing guidance, clarification, and feedback to less experienced staff Creative Thinking & Technical Proficiency Leveraging MS Office and other technologies appropriately Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats, including delivering clear requests for information and communicating potential conflicts Managing teams and/or workstreams on an engagement, staying educated on current trends and assisting in the development of knowledge capital Collaborating with business development teams on proposals to prospective clients Presenting to senior executives and developing lasting relationships Identifying and addressing client needs while contributing to the development of a business vision and managing implementation efforts with complex project management capabilities Minimum Degree Required Bachelor Degree Preferred Qualifications Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Signal Processing, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics Salary & Benefits The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $202,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
