Position Overview Join our legal team as a Litigation Paralegal , supporting attorneys throughout all stages of personal injury litigation. This role is ideal for a proactive and highly organized professional with strong legal drafting, case management, research, and communication skills who is comfortable working in a fast-paced litigation environment. Responsibilities Prepare, draft, and file pleadings while ensuring accuracy, proper legal formatting, and compliance with applicable filing deadlines. Prepare and propound discovery in a timely manner, ensuring proper case captions, proofs of service, and electronic service requirements are completed. Communicate regularly with clients to obtain relevant information, records, and documentation needed to support their cases. Review and analyze case files, medical records, discovery materials, and other documentation to identify important information and assist with case development. Prepare responses to discovery requests using appropriate objections when necessary while providing substantive responses that protect client privacy and support the overall value of the case. Draft and format additional discovery-related documents, including deposition notices, vehicle inspection requests, responses to demands for medical examinations, and other litigation materials. Review incoming subpoenas and identify appropriate limitations when necessary. Organize and maintain case files, ensuring pleadings, discovery, evidence, expert materials, and other case-related documents are properly named, saved, and maintained in the appropriate folders. Maintain consistent communication with attorneys, clients, experts, witnesses, and other relevant parties regarding case developments, upcoming deadlines, and time-sensitive matters. Participate in department and team meetings and come prepared to provide updates regarding assigned cases and responsibilities. Schedule and coordinate depositions, hearings, medical examinations, expert appointments, and other case-related events. Assist with expert designations and coordinate the exchange of expert files between the firm, experts, and defense counsel. Support all aspects of trial preparation, including coordinating witness subpoenas, preparing trial and exhibit binders, working with experts, organizing evidence, and ensuring compliance with applicable local and courtroom rules. Provide support to attorneys during trial, including assisting with exhibits, witnesses, case materials, and other needs that contribute to an organized and effective case presentation. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation experience required Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of state and federal court rules, filing procedures, and litigation processes. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, experts, and other parties. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive client information with professionalism and discretion.
