About the Role
The Company is seeking a Front Office Credit Risk Analyst, Associate Vice President to join their Risk and FRM team. The successful candidate will be responsible for first-line credit risk management across multiple business units, with a focus on traditional counterparty credit analysis and trading product knowledge. This role requires a background in capital markets, particularly with exposure to FX and OTC derivatives, and demonstrated experience in credit risk analysis of a wide variety of counterparties, including financial institutions and alternative funds. Key responsibilities include conducting credit reviews, partnering with sales and relationship management teams, negotiating credit terms, and managing the collection of financial information. The role also involves proactive monitoring of credit utilization and supporting the relationship between front office risk and enterprise risk management. Applicants for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in an economics or business-related field, with an advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in counterparty credit risk is preferred, along with formal credit training. A professional designation such as CFA or FRM is also preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong risk management and control focus, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills. The role demands a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage credit risk across the business units.
