Location: Graham, North Carolina - Hybrid schedule with a combination of in-office collaboration and work-from-home flexibility.

Note: To be considered, you must have 1+ years of accounting experience and either hold an active CPA license or be actively pursuing CPA certification.

Job Description

• Prepare individual and business tax returns with guidance from senior team members.
• Assist with tax planning and compliance engagements.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare financial statements.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable tax regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver accurate, timely client work.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding financial information and documentation.
• Utilize accounting software, Excel, and cloud-based platforms to complete engagements efficiently.
• Manage multiple deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting.
• CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with tax preparation for individuals and/or businesses.
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
