Typical Duties: Replace broken or defective parts with items from stock, order replacements from a machine shop, or send machines for major repairs. Prepare written specifications for major repairs or parts ordered from machine shops. Reassemble machines and make all necessary adjustments for operation. Communicate with foreman, supervisor, and work control to update status of repairs and estimated completion dates. Maintain high proficiency and adhere to all Safety Procedures and Policies. Use computers and handheld mobile devices for timekeeping, data entry, and work management. Qualifications: One (1) year of facilities maintenance experience required. Proficiency in most semi‑skilled tasks and all unskilled tasks. Up to one year of equivalent experience credit may be allowed for trade/other formal training that supports proficiency for semi‑skilled and skilled work. Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods in various environments, including adverse weather and high places. Good manual dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, physical fitness, and balance. Physical Requirements: Lift or move up to 70 pounds. Reach, kneel, walk, stand, and perform repetitive motion for several hours based on duties. May require standing or sitting for several hours, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and walking up and down stairs. Perseverance in working effectively under pressure for extended periods. Requirements: A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
