Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer serving a residential community, where you will conduct routine driving patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and support residents with exceptional customer service and communication. In this armed, driving post, you will bring a professional presence while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM; Thu 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities throughout a residential community location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including contacting supervisors, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel when needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of community roadways, residential perimeters, parking areas, clubhouses, and other common areas to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity by checking identification, verifying entry authorization, and documenting arrivals, departures, and/or security‑related concerns according to site procedures. Prepare clear, timely reports on patrol activity, incidents, and/or policy violations, and communicate relevant updates with residents, property management, and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, military, or a college degree in criminal justice. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Guard card is required. Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
