Job Description Security Officer Armed Site Patrol in Hialeah, FL is a part‑time role. You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as financial institutions, and more. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.01 / Hour Job Schedule: Daytime Saturday 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Sunday 07:00 PM – 06:15 AM. What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, with working conditions that may vary by site. Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high‑traffic spaces to help support access control practices, verify credentials when required, and report unusual activity or policy violations. Support cash handling and other sensitive operational activities by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: At least 2 years of security-related experience. At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Possess an armed guard card and/or license. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Participation in industry-specific security training programs is required. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
