Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments through telehealth platforms to evaluate clients' mental health needs and recommend targeted interventions.

• Deliver high-quality individual, group, and family therapy sessions, adapting to the unique therapeutic needs of each client.

• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team to monitor treatment progress and share insights that contribute to optimal patient outcomes.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address psychiatric diagnoses and specific treatment requirements.

• Engage in continuity of care initiatives, ensuring seamless transitions for clients and facilitating advanced care planning as needed.

• Maintain meticulous electronic health records according to departmental policies, ensuring compliance and accuracy in documentation of all patient care activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Counselor will work primarily with clients experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related disorders, and more. Our client population is reflective of the culturally rich and diverse community in Fresno, demanding a commitment to cultural competency and sensitivity in therapeutic practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Current licensure as either an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is mandatory.

• Strong foundation in therapeutic modalities including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Integrative Client-Centered approaches is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems will be advantageous.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, alongside a collaborative spirit are essential for success in this role.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of three years of experience in the mental health field, particularly in a clinical setting, is preferred. Experience working with diverse populations and familiarity with culturally responsive therapy techniques will enhance candidate suitability.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position enjoys a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
