Job Summary

Seeking a Buyer with 3+ years of procurement experience to manage purchasing activities, vendor relationships, purchase orders, and cost optimization while ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain vendor pricing, product availability, and delivery schedules; expedite orders when needed.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts to achieve cost savings.
• Source and evaluate vendors; maintain vendor approvals and performance records.
• Process purchase requisitions and create purchase orders using an ERP system.
• Track deliveries, manage blanket order releases, and resolve purchasing discrepancies.
• Source raw materials, MRO supplies, and specialty/capital items for Engineering, R&D, and Product Development.
• Monitor supplier quality and performance in accordance with ISO standards.
• Collaborate with internal departments and support purchasing improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Experience with vendor management, negotiation, and purchase orders.
• Strong ERP system and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to travel up to 5% for vendor and site visits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the chemical, electronics, or manufacturing industry
