Shop Administrator

Job Title

Perform various administrative duties to process shop invoices and maintain shop inventory in an efficient and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Process all invoices and purchase orders for shop materials, equipment and vehicles.
• Maintain shop inventory.
• Process all repair orders in a timely manner.
• Handle all expense records for installations, containers and rolling stock.
• Answer telephone calls in a courteous and businesslike manner.
• Assist with Accounts Payable.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of basic computer skills required.
• Familiarity with JD Edwards AS400 systems desired.
• Organization and data entry skills.
• Proficient with I-PAK and/or TMW systems.

Physical/Mental Demands

Ability to stand, sit, walk, talk, hear and use hands and fingers. Visual Requirements: include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions

Work in front of computer terminal 90% of the time. Noise level is moderate. Work in indoor office environment 95% of the time.
