Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct counseling services to clients through personalized individual therapy, family sessions, and group therapy as deemed appropriate based on clinical need.

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the psychological status of patients, documenting findings and creating comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each individual.

• Maintain an active caseload, demonstrating advanced clinical skills to address a variety of psychological issues, from anxiety and depression to complex trauma.

• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective therapeutic interventions.

• Engage in continuous collaboration with families and primary care providers to ensure coordinated care, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.

• Document all clinical interactions meticulously in compliance with state regulations, including progress notes and treatment updates.

• Develop and implement supportive educational programs for clients and their families to boost understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Summit Oaks Care Clinic, you will work with a varied patient population, consisting of individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges. Clients will include children, adolescents, and adults, all seeking support for issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more. Your role is pivotal in providing culturally competent and compassionate care that respects the individual's background and personal experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
\n
• Active licensure in the state of California as either an LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), or PsyD.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with diverse patient populations.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is required. Previous experience working in an outpatient environment is highly preferred, as well as familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management. Training in Telehealth frameworks is an additional asset that will benefit your integration into our team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Summit Oaks Care Clinic offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to $135,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Benefits include:
