Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Couples Learn, Ltd, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Performing comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their mental health needs and developing personalized therapy plans.

• Conducting individual or group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Incorporating behavioral methods and therapeutic techniques to facilitate progress and empower clients on their healing journey.

• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of client interactions and treatment plans using our electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Engaging in continuous professional development by participating in training sessions, workshops, and peer consultations to enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse array of clients, encompassing various backgrounds, ages, and mental health concerns. Your expertise in understanding relationship dynamics will enable you to assist couples and individuals facing issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. By fostering a safe and supportive space, you will help clients navigate their challenges and achieve their personal and relational goals.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field.

• A valid state-issued license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a relevant mental health setting.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and collaboration with colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and experience in telehealth services are advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates who have previously engaged in multidisciplinary team settings or possess advanced certifications in behavioral therapy methodologies will find this role particularly rewarding.
