Plaintiff Litigation Paralegal (Federal Experience)

This position is for a Litigation Paralegal supporting the Co-Chair of the Class Action Practice Group and a team of attorneys focused primarily on consumer protection and automotive defect class actions , with some environmental contamination matters. The role is based in a satellite office and will support a team handling large, complex federal litigation cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Co-Chair and a class action litigation team of approximately 7 attorneys.
• Manage complex class action cases from inception through trial.
• Maintain case files and oversee all aspects of case management.
• Handle extensive court-driven calendaring and deadline tracking in Outlook.
• Assist with deposition and trial preparation, including exhibit compilation and organization.
• Prepare and file documents electronically, primarily in federal courts.
• Assist attorneys with time entry and billing submissions.
• Manage travel and expense reporting for the litigation team.
• Format and assist with drafting briefs and other legal documents.
• Work in a fully electronic environment utilizing eCase, Adobe Pro, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience with a strong understanding of litigation procedures.
• Strong case management experience , ideally involving large and complex matters.
• Experience with electronic court filings .
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel , including functions such as pivot tables.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced litigation environment.
