Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite at our home care facility in Lancaster, New York. Here, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including primary care providers, social workers, and other mental health specialists, to deliver comprehensive care. The role involves regular working hours from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a balanced schedule that promotes both professional and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments to accurately diagnose a wide range of mental health conditions.
• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans, including appropriate medication management and monitoring of treatment effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams to provide integrated care that addresses both physical and mental health needs.
• Offer crisis intervention services and emotional support during acute distress or emergencies.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives and educational programs designed to elevate mental health awareness and understanding.
• Facilitate therapeutic support through counseling, psychoeducation, and skill-building interventions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring compliance with all federal and state health guidelines.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
