Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the overall health and well-being of patients through comprehensive monitoring and interventions.
• Conduct in-depth physical examinations and thoroughly review patients' medical histories to inform ongoing treatment decisions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging studies, to accurately assess patient conditions.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in medical research and best practices in primary care through ongoing professional development.
• Create and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at managing chronic conditions and infectious diseases.
• Prescribe medications as necessary, closely tracking patient responses and making adjustments to treatment as required.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of health conditions within the scope of family medicine, employing a patient-centered approach.
• Advocate for preventive care by promoting healthy lifestyle choices and education regarding disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient records and schedules using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Engage in patient and family education about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures to enhance health outcomes.

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse patient population within the Lancaster community, focusing on individual patient needs across various age groups and health backgrounds. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Physician Assistant in a family health clinic or similar medical setting.
• Demonstrated expertise and specialization in family medicine, with extensive clinical experience in primary care.
• In-depth knowledge of health regulations and patient care practices.

• A current DEA number is required to prescribe medications.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive salary for this position, ranging from $150,000 to $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
