Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to identify their unique needs and challenges.

• Provide individualized therapy sessions designed for both individual and family units, focusing on therapeutic techniques that best suit the identified needs.

• Complete essential documentation, including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms in a timely manner, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurate.

• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans that support the sustained health and stability of clients.

• Create and implement discharge plans that promote continued care and improvement in clients' lives.
\n
• Abide by current federal and state laws along with the ethical standards set forth by professional licensing organizations to ensure compliance and best practices.

• Maintain professional competence and growth through regular training, continuing education opportunities, and staying current with best practices.

• Engage actively in case consultation and agency meetings to foster professional collaboration and enhance service delivery.

• Complete all necessary licensure and mandatory training requirements as part of your professional development plan.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse population of individuals and families seeking guidance and support for mental health concerns. This may include clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Your sensitivity to cultural differences and commitment to an inclusive approach will enhance your effectiveness as a counselor and deepen the trust between you and your clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related degree that qualifies for licensure is mandatory.

• You must possess an active professional license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.

Compensation and Benefits\n
