Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical tests across various domains including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, adhering to established laboratory protocols.
• Analyze test results for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments as necessary.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, engage in training new staff or students, and help uphold laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a safe and tidy work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree, plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
