Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of students, identifying their mental health needs, strengths, and areas requiring intervention.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that include both individual and group therapy modalities to address various psychological conditions.

• Provide crisis intervention during acute mental health episodes, ensuring the immediate safety and support of students.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and follow-up care in accordance with organizational standards using electronic medical records.

• Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and external healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for students, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and involved.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with a diverse student population, ranging from elementary through high school. You will encounter various mental health issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma-related disorders. Understanding the unique challenges faced by these young individuals in an educational context will be crucial in providing effective care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Possession of a current and valid LCSW license to practice in the state of Illinois is essential.
