Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Minneapolis, MN (100% onsite, only local candidates in Minnesota will be eligible for consideration) Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and eligible for 401(k). Addison Group is partnering with a growing and fast-paced organization to identify an Accounting Assistant to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role offers exposure to multiple accounting functions, modern financial systems, and process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Process a high volume of invoices while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely entry Support full-cycle accounts payable activities including invoice review, coding, approvals, and payment processing Review employee expenses and financial transactions for accuracy and proper allocation Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation across multiple systems and platforms Assist with accounting technology initiatives, system enhancements, and automation projects Support data management efforts related to financial system implementations and process improvements Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice, payment, and accounting-related issues Assist with vendor communication and account maintenance activities Support accounting projects, reporting requests, and operational initiatives as needed Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts within the accounting function Qualifications 2+ years of accounting, accounts payable, bookkeeping, or related experience Experience processing invoices and supporting transactional accounting activities Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to learn new systems and adapt to changing priorities Experience working with accounting software and cloud-based financial platforms Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Positive, adaptable, and team-oriented approach to work Why choose Addison Finance & Accounting?
