Job Description Job Description Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP / SLPA) – School-Based & Clinic Services $33–$60 Per Student, Per Hour | Full-Time & Part-Time | School & Clinic-Based | El Dorado County | Relocation Assistance Available | Supervision of SLPA Build More Than a Caseload. Build a Career. At Growing Healthy Seasons, we believe meaningful therapy begins by supporting the clinicians who provide it. We are a values-driven pediatric therapy practice serving children and families throughout Northern California. Our work extends beyond individual therapy sessions - we build systems of care that help children, families, schools, and clinicians thrive through every season of growth. Our culture is built on collaboration, transparency, mentorship, and clinical excellence. We believe therapists do their best work when they feel supported, respected, and connected to a team that genuinely cares about their success. If you're looking for a workplace where you'll be known as a person, not just another provider, we'd love to meet you. Learn more at growinghealthyseasons.com Why Therapists Choose Growing Healthy Seasons When you join our team, you'll find more than a job - you'll find people who are invested in helping you build a sustainable and rewarding career. You'll enjoy: Competitive compensation of $33–$60 per student, per hour Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates Flexible full-time and part-time opportunities School-based and clinic-based caseload options Administrative support for scheduling, IEP coordination, and documentation Documentation time built into your workday Local travel with typical drive times of 15–30 minutes Mileage reimbursement Individualized mentorship and clinical support Leadership and career advancement opportunities Collaborative, values-driven team culture Advanced documentation and technology tools Medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, PTO, sick pay, and 401(k) with employer match for eligible full-time team members What You’ll Do As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll provide individualized, evidence-based services to children across school and clinic settings while collaborating with families, educators, and fellow clinicians. Responsibilities include: Evaluate, assess, and treat speech, language, communication, feeding, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs and clinical goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams Participate in IEP meetings with administrative support Complete documentation using our provided systems and technology Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as assigned Deliver compassionate, neurodiversity-affirming care that reflects each child's individual strengths Clinicians with specialized experience in areas such as AAC, fluency, early language, feeding, or other specialty areas may have opportunities to incorporate those interests into their caseloads whenever possible. Compensation Growing Healthy Seasons uses a per-student, per-hour compensation model , allowing clinicians to increase their earnings through appropriately scheduled individual and group therapy services. Our compensation structure recognizes your clinical expertise while rewarding efficient, high-quality service delivery. Hourly compensation ranges from $33–$60 per student, per hour , based on experience, credentials, certifications, and assigned responsibilities. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. A Thoughtfully Built Schedule We understand that one of the biggest considerations when choosing a pediatric therapy position is confidence in your schedule and caseload. Rather than assigning a one-size-fits-all schedule, we intentionally build each clinician's caseload based on: Clinical experience Preferred populations and age groups Geographic location School and clinic availability Supervision responsibilities Organizational needs Before assignments begin, you'll have clear conversations about your anticipated schedule, locations, supervision responsibilities, and expectations so there are no surprises. Predictable Support in a Variable Setting Pediatric therapy naturally includes school calendars, student absences, family cancellations, and changing service needs. While no pediatric practice can eliminate every schedule adjustment, Growing Healthy Seasons works proactively to create as much consistency as possible. Our leadership team actively: Monitors clinician caseloads throughout the year Coordinates scheduling across schools and clinics Communicates anticipated changes as early as possible Partners with clinicians to maintain meaningful workloads Provides administrative and Service Tracking support so therapists can focus on patient care Our commitment is simple: you'll never be expected to navigate those changes alone. Our Culture in Action Our values aren't framed on a wall -they're reflected in how we support one another every day. That means: You'll have leaders who are accessible, responsive, and invested in your success. You'll spend more time providing therapy and less time managing administrative obstacles. You'll collaborate with clinicians who openly share knowledge, resources, and encouragement. You'll receive honest communication, clear expectations, and transparency from leadership. You'll be encouraged to ask questions, contribute ideas, and help shape the future of our programs. Our goal is to create an environment where exceptional clinicians can build long-term careers while making a lasting impact on children and families. Mentorship & Career Growth Whether you're early in your career or an experienced clinician looking for your next professional home, we believe growth should never stop. Growing Healthy Seasons provides opportunities to pursue: Individualized mentorship Clinical specialization Continuing education SLPA supervision Program development Clinical leadership Operational leadership Future management opportunities We believe investing in our clinicians ultimately benefits every child and family we serve.
