Certified Medication Technician

Medication Technician (Med Tech)

CareCore at Margaret Hall is currently seeking a reliable and compassionate Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our team. If you are passionate about caring for seniors and want to work in a supportive, team-oriented environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and facility policies
Accurately document medication administration and report any concerns
Monitor residents for medication reactions or changes in condition
Assist nursing staff with resident care as needed
Maintain medication carts and ensure proper storage of medications
Follow all safety and infection control procedures

Requirements

Current Medication Technician certification required
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Compassionate, dependable, and team-focused
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
