Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule. However, as a member of our detox center team, you will engage with clients through telehealth platforms, conducting individual and group therapy sessions that are crucial in their treatment. Our supportive colleagues, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other social workers, ensure a collaborative approach to mental health care, which allows for a cohesive and effective treatment experience.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health history, current concerns, and strengths, enabling tailored treatment planning.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy employing one or more evidence-based treatment modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, adjusting goals and interventions as needed for optimal client outcomes.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups that help clients learn coping strategies and build community connections.

• Offer crisis intervention and conduct risk assessments to ensure client safety, devising appropriate safety plans during challenging circumstances.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring that all client interactions and treatment progress are thoroughly recorded.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will be working with a diverse clientele of individuals struggling with a variety of mental health conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related disorders. Our clients may enter the detox center seeking immediate support, and your role will be pivotal in fostering their recovery journey through compassionate care and professional guidance.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Connecticut.

• Minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, preferably in a detox or addiction recovery environment.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
