Accounts Payable Clerk

Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join a growing team in Vero Beach. This is a fully onsite, temp-to-permanent opportunity for an accounting professional with experience processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be organized, accurate, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner Perform 2-way and 3-way invoice matching Review invoices for proper approvals and coding Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries Reconcile vendor statements and accounts payable records Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers Maintain vendor files and ensure accurate documentation Assist with month-end closing activities, including AP reconciliations Communicate with internal departments and external vendors regarding payment status Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures Support additional accounting and administrative projects as needed Qualifications 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience preferred Experience processing high-volume invoices Strong understanding of AP processes, reconciliations, and invoice matching Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and data management Experience working with accounting or ERP systems Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy Pay Details $26.00 to $27.00 per hour Benefits Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
