Business Development Manager

Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in commercial and residential construction.
- Prospect, qualify, and pursue new clients and project opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with developers, property owners, architects, engineers, and other industry stakeholders.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and bid submissions.
- Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to align opportunities with company capabilities.
- Maintain and manage sales pipelines using CRM software.
- Attend networking events, industry meetings, and business development activities.
- Support strategic planning for market expansion.
- Track sales performance metrics and prepare management reports.
- Assist with marketing initiatives and brand awareness activities.
- Represent the company professionally in client meetings and industry events.
- Experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management.
- Construction industry experience (commercial and/or residential) preferred.
- Strong lead generation, client relationship management, and negotiation skills.
- Experience preparing proposals, presentations, and project bids.
- Ability to conduct market research and strategic business planning.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
