Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs, utilizing recognized diagnostic tools to establish accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.

• Provide individualized one-on-one counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to assist clients in managing mental health disorders including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that address common mental health topics, providing a safe space for clients to share experiences and learn from one another.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate measurable goals and interventions tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Respond to clients in crisis by assessing risk factors and coordinating immediate support and emergency interventions as required.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending training sessions, workshops, and conferences to stay updated on the latest therapeutic approaches and best practices.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals—including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers—to ensure integrated and holistic client care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport with clients swiftly, facilitating an effective therapeutic alliance.

Compensation and Benefits\n
