Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to understand clients’ psychosocial needs and establish appropriate intervention plans.

• Engage in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring services align with the specific needs of each child and family.
\n
• Regularly monitor family and client outcomes as part of interdisciplinary teams, adjusting care strategies based on evolving needs and feedback.

• Provide emotional support and counseling for families, equipping them with information and skills to advocate for their child’s development.
\n
• Collaborate with caregivers and team members to foster a supportive environment that promotes healthy learning and emotional growth.

• Adhere to all relevant Federal and State regulations governing social work practice to maintain the integrity of our clinical services.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to adapt intervention strategies, ensuring alignment with Natural Learning Environment practices.

• Conduct service recommendations based on child developmental status and family priorities, ensuring that families receive tailored support.
\n
• Encourage family involvement in the therapeutic process, promoting joint planning and active participation.
\n
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to protect clients and staff in all interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with infants and toddlers experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. Our services are designed to nurture their growth and learning during the critical early years of development, placing a strong emphasis on holistic, family-centered practices. Your interventions will aim to support not only the children but also their families, recognizing that effective care involves everyone in the client’s support network.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the Connecticut Department of Public Health.

• At least one year of relevant experience working within early intervention frameworks, particularly with children and families.

• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in time management, allowing for effective case oversight and documentation.

• Exceptional communication abilities, fostering rapport with diverse populations.

• Knowledge of and commitment to Natural Learning Environment practices, demonstrating adaptability to meet various learning styles.

Compensation and Benefits\n
