Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately identify and meet the clinical needs of patients, ensuring tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitate communication among supervisors, direct care staff, families, and other relevant parties to discuss client progress and treatment adjustments.
\n
• Develop and maintain schedules for appointments and home visits, focusing on monitoring patient progress and effectiveness of care.
\n
• Organize and coordinate home visits for in-home observations, reviewing client records, interviewing staff, and analyzing data to improve outcomes.
\n
• Oversee the implementation of individualized program plans, ensuring that treatment measures are effectively executed.
\n
• Participate actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to contribute to collaborative care strategies and discuss case progress.
\n
• Document monthly and quarterly progress notes that reflect clinical findings and inform ongoing treatment processes.
\n
• Lead training sessions for staff to ensure adherence to program protocols and proficiency in documentation requirements.
\n
• Carry out follow-up interviews and home visits to provide ongoing support, adapting plans as necessary to align with patient needs.
\n
• Maintain detailed and organized records to ensure information is easily accessible to authorized parties, promoting comprehensive care.
\n
• Act as a liaison with the public and mental health community to foster partnerships that support program development goals.
\n
• Assist in the creation of training materials and procedures aimed at enhancing program delivery and staff capabilities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will encompass working with a diverse range of clients, including adults and youth, dealing with varying mental health concerns. You will play a pivotal part in creating individualized care plans that address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.

Qualifications\n

• A current and unrestricted license as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Nevada is mandatory.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required; a Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred.

• Applicants must possess a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling context.
\n
• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, or substance misuse is highly valued.
\n
• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practices.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team, contributing to a holistic approach to care.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and relevant technologies is necessary.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with specialized training in trauma-informed care or experience in community health settings will be given preference. Additionally, familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health counseling will be advantageous.
