About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Operations to lead and coordinate manufacturing and engineering efforts with a strong focus on continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the performance of multiple manufacturing facilities, ensuring that customer needs are met, and that strategic and financial targets are achieved. This role requires a leader who can champion a culture of continuous improvement, utilizing a variety of processes and tools such as Lean Manufacturing, PDCA A3 Problem Solving, and other continuous improvement methodologies. The VP, Operations will also be a key partner in the development of innovative tools and processes to monitor and enhance manufacturing performance. Applicants for the VP, Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in managing plant operations. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in driving performance, process optimization, and change management. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work with cross-functional teams to ensure organizational compliance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or similar methodologies, and possess the financial acumen to make data-driven decisions. The VP, Operations will be the final authority on workplace safety and environmental issues and must be adept at managing a large, diversified manufacturing operation.
