Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic PTA at Reinforce Physical Therapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Assisting licensed Physical Therapists in conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and conditions to inform treatment approaches.
• Implementing tailored treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists designed to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and overall mobility.
• Applying hands-on treatment techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and various modalities for pain relief and rehabilitation.
• Collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team to plan and coordinate patient care, ensuring all aspects of patient health are considered.
• Educating patients and their families on comprehensive home exercise programs and safe practices to reduce the risk of further injuries.
• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress adhering to both regulatory requirements and company policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Graduation from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current California PTA license and an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Physical Therapy Assisting.

Preferred Experience
