Accounts Receivable Document Clerk

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Document Clerk to support our accounting team with the accurate processing, organization, and maintenance of accounts receivable documents. The ideal candidate will be organized, computer proficient, and comfortable working with detailed financial records.

THE NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

•Organize, scan, file, and maintain accounts receivable documents and records.

•Match invoices, payments, and supporting documentation.

•Assist with resolving documentation discrepancies.

•Maintain accurate electronic and physical filing systems.

•Retrieve and provide documentation as requested by accounting staff, customers, or management.

•Review documents for completeness and accuracy.

•Assist with data entry, reporting, and other administrative accounting duties.

•Maintain confidentiality of customer and financial information.

EDUCATION/SPECIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:

•High school diploma or equivalent required.

•Previous clerical, administrative, accounts receivable, or accounting experience preferred.

•Current Notary Public commission, or ability to obtain and maintain a Notary Public commission

•Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

•Good organizational and time management skills.

•Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

•Ability to work with electronic filing systems and accounting software (SAP).

•Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.

•Ability to work independently while meeting established deadlines.

• Experience with accounts receivable or financial documentation.

• Familiarity with invoice processing.

• Data-entry experience with a high level of accuracy.
